William McNeill

Managing Director, Trading

Bill McNeill began his career as a currency broker at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1987. After more than ten successful years as a broker Bill was ready for a new challenge and became a market maker for Alpart Trading, LP in 1999. He traded Eurodollar options at the CME and eventually moved over to the CBOE as a market maker in IBM and the SPX option pits.

In 2001, Bill left Alpart Trading to start trading Index arbitrage for DRW trading. With trading opportunities in the fixed income sector booming, Bill shifted his focus to that arena.

After three very successful years trading at DRW he left the firm to bring his experience back to what was now Harrison Trading Group, LLC (Harrison) to help the firm build and grow its off floor electronic fixed income trading group. Bill was appointed CEO of Harrison in 2005 and his duties and responsibilities included: working closely with the Managing Member and the Executive Team to develop and execute the strategic direction and initiatives of the firm; oversight of the day to day management of the firm in terms of trading, firm wide risk management, operations and technology. After helping to facilitate the merger between Harrison Trading and GH traders, Bill was named Managing Director, Trading.

Bill has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Concordia University.
